I slapped this on ten minutes after accidentally rubbing chili oil into my eye (don’t ask). Zero burn. That’s the promise — and it actually kept it.
But medium coverage that doesn’t cake by 4 PM? That’s the real test. Most tinted SPFs melt into a greasy mess by lunch. This one… didn’t.
It’s a tinted mineral sunscreen with 20% zinc oxide — $36 for 1 oz. Tower 28 calls it “foundation,” but it’s really a SPF with pigment. The claim that got me: no white cast. We’ll see.
The Shade Range
10 shades, but they lean fair-to-medium. Deeper tones? Still playing catch-up.
The Finish
Demi-matte. Not flat, not dewy. It’s the “I slept 7 hours” look.
The Sting Test
100% mineral filter + no chemical UV absorbers. My eyes confirmed it.

No fragrance, no silicones, no oxybenzone nonsense. The formula leans into soothing ingredients — which makes sense for a brand built for sensitive skin. But here’s the thing nobody says: it’s packed with emollients, so if you’re oily, you might look like a glazed donut by hour 6.
- Zinc Oxide 20%: Broad-spectrum protection that doesn’t sting
- Green Tea Extract: Anti-inflammatory, not just filler
- Jojoba Oil: Moisture that mimics your skin’s natural sebum
- Aloe Vera: Calming, but also why it feels slightly thick

First pump: texture is thick — like a thin yogurt. Spreads fast, absorbs in maybe 15 seconds. Finish is smooth, but if you have dry patches, exfoliate first or it’ll cling like a jealous ex.
Week three: I wore it through a 12-hour shift, a workout, and a nap. No oxidation (still my shade at 9 PM). But around the nose? Slight separation. Not tragic, just real.

My skin looked more even, not more perfect. Dark spots faded slightly over a month (the zinc + green tea combo actually works). But my fine lines? Still there — this won’t replace concealer.

It’s a very good tinted sunscreen for sensitive skin — not a foundation. If you treat it like the former, you’ll love it. If you want the latter, you’ll be disappointed.
