They changed the Fit Me. The one foundation you could blindly recommend to anyone with oily skin.
The big deal? They added hyaluronic acid. For a *matte* foundation. That’s either genius or a disaster.
Same name, new formula. Still $10. Maybelline says it’s “pore-blurring” with 24-hour wear. I had to test those claims.
Finish
Still matte, but with a faint, almost imperceptible glow now.
Coverage
Buildable medium – it won’t mask a deep blemish completely.
Shade Range
40 shades, but the undertones run slightly more neutral than before.

It’s a matte foundation playing with hydrating ingredients. The goal is to avoid that tight, mask-like feel.
- Micro-powders: Blur pores by diffusing light
- Hyaluronic Acid: Holds water to prevent cakey dryness
- Kaolin Clay: Soaks up oil throughout the day
- Dimethicone: Creates that smooth, slip-on texture

Applies like a dream – silky, not draggy. Sets down in about 90 seconds. Doesn’t smell like chemicals, which is a win.
After two weeks: It clung to one dry patch I didn’t know I had. The old formula never did that. But my T-zone? Perfection.

Oil control is still an 8/10. Pores look smoothed. But the wear is different – it breaks down more gracefully, less patchy.

It’s better for most, worse for some. A genuine upgrade for normal-to-oily skin that wants comfort with its matte finish.
