I bought this because the texture looked like a boba drink and I have zero self-control. But here’s the thing — Innbeauty Project calls it a “slushy serum moisturizer” and that’s marketing speak for “please use me in the morning unless you want to wake up greasy.”
The real tell? It’s got enough slip to slide under sunscreen without pilling, but not enough weight to act as a night cream unless you’re an oil slick. I tested it both ways so you don’t have to.
It’s a gel-cream hybrid that promises “bouncy” hydration for $28. The viral thirst trap got me — that jiggly, scoopable texture on TikTok is real. But the claims are just okay.
The texture
It literally jiggles in the jar. Scoop it and it holds shape for a second before melting. Weirdly satisfying.
The finish
Semi-matte. Like you just splashed your face with cold water. No tackiness within 60 seconds.
The wear time
4-5 hours before my normal-combo skin felt like it needed a touch-up. Not a 12-hour moisturizer.

They lean hard on the “slushy” concept with snow mushroom and glycerin — basically humectants that pull water in, not seal it. No heavy oils, which explains why it’s not a night cream for most people.
- Snow Mushroom: Holds 500x its weight in water — plumps without heaviness
- Glycerin: The boring MVP that actually hydrates
- Peptides: Skin-firming claims but you need months to see it
- Tremella Mushroom: Fancy name for extra hydration, not a miracle

It feels cold, bouncy, and spreads like a gelée that dissolves into water. Absorbs in exactly 8 seconds — I timed it. My skin felt plump but not wet.
Two weeks in, I realized it’s not enough for my dry patches overnight. But under makeup? Perfection. No pilling, no sliding. The unexpected thing: it works better on slightly damp skin. Apply to dry skin and it sits weirdly on top.

My fine lines looked less crispy in the morning. Pores? Same size — not smaller. It didn’t break me out, but it didn’t fix anything either. It’s a solid hydrator, not a treatment.

It’s a great morning moisturizer that does exactly what it says — no more, no less. Use it in the AM or regret your choices at 2 AM when your face feels tight.
