I put this on at 8am in Seoul’s swamp-ass humidity, walked 20 minutes to the subway, and forgot I was wearing SPF. That never happens.
Most “watery” sunscreens still leave that weird slick on your steering wheel or phone screen. This one doesn’t. It’s like the SPF equivalent of those Japanese blotting papers – but you don’t have to reapply every hour.
It’s a Korean water-gel SPF50+ PA++++ that costs about $22 for 50ml. I bought it because the brand claimed it “melts into skin like ice” – which sounded like marketing bs until I tried it.
Zero white cast
Actually zero. Not “minimal” or “sheer.” I’m NC25 and it disappears completely.
Dries in 15 seconds
Not 30. Not “quickly.” I timed it. 15 seconds and my face is matte.
No pilling under makeup
Even with that thick silicone-y primer I regret buying. Not one single ball.

They use chemical filters (Uvinul A Plus, Tinosorb S) so it’s not that chalky physical block nonsense. But the real hero is the water-gel base that uses ethanol and some kind of silica powder to evaporate everything except protection.
- Niacinamide: calms the redness I get from other SPFs
- Centella Asiatica: the Korean skincare MVP for sensitive skin
- Silica: absorbs oil without drying me out
- Ethanol: the reason it dries so fast, but not enough to sting

First pump – it’s like a watery gel that smells faintly of citrus and alcohol. I spread it and for 10 seconds I thought “oh god it’s gonna be sticky.” Then it just… vanished. My skin felt like nothing was on it. Creepy at first.
Week 3: I caught myself not wearing moisturizer underneath because this thing is somehow hydrating enough on its own. That’s weird for a matte SPF. Also – no breakouts. My T-zone usually rebels against new products but it’s just… quiet.

Three weeks of daily use, no tan lines on my face (I’m the idiot who forgets her neck). My usual summer congestion around my nose? Gone. But I still got a little greasy by hour 6 in direct sun – it’s not magic, just really good chemistry.

Best summer SPF I’ve tested in years. It’s the only one that makes me forget I’m wearing protection – and that’s the whole damn point.
