I bought this because I’m lazy and hate washing off bronzer at 2AM. Turns out Isle of Paradise Over It Self-Tanning Face Mist is the actual MVP for people who want color without committing to a full face tan.
The real shocker? It dries down in 10 seconds flat. No sticky “am I glowing or just sweaty” situation.
It’s a clear mist that develops into a natural tan in 4-6 hours. $28. The brand claims you can use it as a contour tool, brow tinter, and eyeshadow base. I called bullshit. Then I tried all four.
Contour hack
Mist a brush, trace your cheekbones, wake up looking like you actually slept.
Brow filler
Spray a spoolie, brush through brows. No more patchy boy brows.
Shadow base
One spritz on lids before powder shadow. Color sticks all day — no crease.
Full face glow
Three spritzes, even coat, done. No streaks because it’s clear.

No fake tan smell. Seriously — none. That’s because they use erythrulose instead of DHA alone. It’s a slower developer but it doesn’t reek like burnt cookies. Also packed with aloe and coconut water so you don’t look like a dried-up raisin.
- Erythrulose: Develops color without the stink
- Aloe Vera: Calms redness so tan looks even
- Coconut Water: Hydrates so it doesn’t flake
- Hyaluronic Acid: Plumps so your face doesn’t look thirsty

It’s a fine mist — almost like a facial spray you’d use for hydration. No residue, no orange transfer on your pillowcase. I sprayed it on a Monday morning before coffee and forgot I was wearing it.
Two weeks in, I noticed my brows looked fuller. Not thicker — just more defined, like I’d filled them in without trying. That was the surprise. The contour thing works, but the brow thing is the real reason I’ll repurchase.

My skin looked subtly more alive — not tan, just… well-rested. No breakouts. No orange patches. But if you want a deep bronze, this isn’t it. It’s a “you but better” situation, not a “just got back from Cancún” one.

Buy it for the brow hack alone. Everything else is a bonus. This is the laziest, smartest self-tanner I own — and I own a lot.
