I bought this thinking it’d be another tube collecting dust in my drawer. Instead it’s become the most abused product in my kit.
Here’s the thing nobody tells you: this tinted balm works better as a cream blush than most actual cream blushes I own. And I own a lot.
Tula calls this a Rose Glow Tinted Primer — $38 for 1 oz. The claim? “Instant glow.” I rolled my eyes. Then I tried it.
Cream Blush
Dab on cheeks, blend with fingers — looks like you just ran up stairs. Lasts 5 hours on my oily skin.
Lip Tint
One swipe gives a sheer rose stain. Two swipes looks like you ate a popsicle. Not sticky.
Eye Shadow Base
Sets in 10 seconds. My hooded lids stay crease-free for 8 hours. Wild.

The ingredients list is short — which I actually trust more than a novel of science words. Three things do the heavy lifting here, and none of them are just filler.
- Sodium Hyaluronate: plumps without that sticky tacky feeling
- Shea Butter: melts on contact, doesn’t sit on top
- Vitamin E: keeps it from oxidizing into orange territory

It’s a balm that turns into a second skin. Not greasy. Not silicone-slick. Just… there. Like your skin but better.
Three weeks in, I’m most shocked by the emergency concealer move — pats over a breakout without caking. It won’t cover a volcanic zit, but for “I need to look alive in 30 seconds” moments? Perfect.

My skin looks more even. My makeup stays put longer. But it didn’t erase my pores or cure my dry patches — nothing does that.

Buy it for the glow. Keep it for the versatility. I’m on my second tube and I’ve never even used it as a primer.
