I bought this because I’m a sucker for a celebrity brand with a mission. Rare Beauty has that whole “mental health is beauty” thing down cold. But I needed to know if the $26 mist actually makes your makeup stay put better than a $9 NYX bottle.
The real test? I wore it during a hot, humid subway commute. The NYX mist usually leaves me looking like a glazed donut by the end. This one… didn’t.
It’s a 4-in-1 mist: primer, setting spray, hydrator, and “glow booster.” The claim that hooked me was “locks in makeup for 16 hours.” Bold. I had to try it.

Comes out like a cloud, not a firehose. No wet spots.

Leaves skin looking lit from within, not greasy.

Smells like a light floral spa water. Not for fragrance haters.
