It’s still a liquid exfoliant — the same cult-classic from Biologique Recherche that estheticians swear by. $93 for 8.4 oz. The price went up slightly, because of course it did.
The Smell
The old version smelled like a chemical accident. This one smells like… nothing. Suspicious.
The Burn
Original P50 gave you that “it’s working!” sting. The new one is a whisper, not a shout.
The Texture
Slightly thinner. Almost watery. It disappears before you can blink.

They swapped the harsh stuff for gentler alternatives. The “holy trinity” of acids is still there, but the delivery system is different. It’s smarter, honestly — but it’s not the same beast.
- Lactic Acid: Exfoliates but now buffered with soothing agents
- Salicylic Acid: Clears pores but less aggressive on the skin barrier
- Gluconolactone: Added PHA for gentler exfoliation
- Arnica Extract: Anti-inflammatory — this is new and it matters

First swipe: no sting. No redness. My face felt… calm? That’s not supposed to happen with P50. I almost thought I got a fake bottle.
Week three: my texture is still improved. But that “glow” everyone raves about? It’s more of a sheen now. Less dramatic, more natural. My skin is less reactive overall — I’ll take that trade.
