The brush is what got me. It’s not some sci-fi silicone contraption — it’s a tapered, flexible wand that doesn’t poke your eye socket when you’re rushing at 7 AM. That alone puts it ahead of 80% of the department store counter.
It’s $24, which is the sweet spot between drugstore and luxury. Rare Beauty claims “universal volumizing” — no lengthening, no curling, just pure, dumb volume. That’s it. I respect the focus.
