You bought the Wet Brush Flexy to detangle. Cute. But it’s been holding out on you — this thing is a full scalp spa in disguise.
I’ve been using it to scrub my scalp like a $90 scalp-massaging tool, and my roots have never looked less flat. Same brush, zero extra cost.
The Flexy is a flexible-paddle detangler — usually $12-15 at Ulta or Target. I grabbed it because my hair snaps if I look at it wrong, and the flexible base sounded gimmicky. It’s not.
Flexy-Flex Base
The whole head bends, so you can press harder without yanking your roots.
IntelliFlex Bristles
Soft, flexible bristles that glide through knots but still grip your scalp enough to feel like a scrub.
Comfort Grip Handle
Squishy, ergonomic — you can hold it in the shower without it slipping into the drain.

There’s no serum in this thing. It’s pure mechanics, and that’s the point. The bristles are spaced so they don’t snag, and the flexible pad absorbs pressure so you don’t tear through wet strands.
- Flexible pad: absorbs tension so you don’t snap hair
- Soft bristles: mimic a scalp massage without scratching
- Wide spacing: lets knots slide out instead of catching
- Vented base: lets water/air flow through, so hair dries faster

It feels weirdly soft — like brushing with a kitten paw. I was skeptical because soft usually means weak. But the flex is the trick: you can push it against your scalp hard enough to feel the blood move without any hair pulling.
Three weeks in, the surprise? It’s the best dry shampoo distributor I own. Spray, brush through, and it spreads the powder to my roots without white streaks. Who knew.

My hairbrush used to collect a small bird’s nest of hair every wash. Now it’s maybe five strands. That’s it. My ends still split like usual, but I’m not ripping out the healthy stuff anymore.

If your hair is fragile, this is the only brush you need. If your hair is thick, don’t waste your money. Simple as that.
