The old hero was castor oil. New formula leans on a “ceramide + protein” complex. It’s a shift from heavy moisture to bond repair.
- Ceramides: Fill in cracks in the hair’s outer layer
- Amino Acids: The building blocks of protein
- Castor Oil: Still in there, but way down the list
- Silicones: For that instant slip — they didn’t skimp here

Texture is lighter — a whipped mousse-cream hybrid. Absorbs in 15 seconds, no white residue. The scent is aggressively fruity now. Like a candy necklace.
After two weeks, my ends felt stronger but… thirstier. The new formula isn’t as moisturizing. I had to add a separate oil to the very tips.

Measurably fewer splits traveling up my hair. But the soft, conditioned feel of the old formula is gone. It’s more of a strengthener now.

It’s not a nightmare — but it’s not the same dream. A solid product that swapped deep conditioning for fortification. I’ll use it, but I’ll miss the old one.
