I keep a mini tub in every bag. It’s not for my lips.
The real reason? It’s the only thing that fixes my post-manicure cuticles in 24 hours flat — no peeling, just healed.
It’s a $6 ointment from Eucerin. I bought it for a tattoo. Now I use it for everything.

It’s 41% petrolatum. That’s the whole point. It’s a protective barrier that locks moisture in — it doesn’t ‘moisturize’ on its own.
- Petrolatum: Seals out air and water to let skin heal itself
- Glycerin: Pulls water into the top layer of skin
- Panthenol (B5): Soothes irritation on contact
- Lanolin Alcohol: Emulsifies it all so it spreads without being greasy

It’s thick and glossy — like solidified honey. Warms up instantly on skin.
Week 2 update: I used it on my heels overnight with socks. Woke up to sandal-ready feet. A press release would never admit it’s better than most $30 foot creams.
Dry patches? Gone. Makeup melt? Solved. But it did nothing for my fine lines — and it shouldn’t. That’s not its job.
It’s a brilliant, boring workhorse. Not sexy, just effective.
