I scooped this out expecting another thick, pasty cica cream. Instead, it felt like spreading chilled mochi on my face — bouncy, airy, almost weightless.
That texture gimmick would be nothing if it didn’t actually calm down my post-retinol peeling. It did. In like, 3 days.
It’s a moisturizer from Dewytree — $22 for 70ml. They claim 96% cica extract and a “cloud” texture that melts on contact. I bought it because I’m a sucker for weird textures and my barrier was screaming.
The Cloud Whip
It’s not a gel, not a cream — somewhere in between. Whipped. Like a mousse that forgot it was supposed to be dense.
Absorption Speed
Dries down in maybe 15 seconds. No sticky film left behind. My pillowcase thanks me.
The Scent
Barely there. A faint herbal whisper. You won’t smell like a salad.

For a cica cream, it’s surprisingly simple. No 50-ingredient flex — just a few heavy hitters doing the work. The hero is centella asiatica extract (that’s the cica), and it’s the first ingredient listed. Not water. Actual extract.
- Centella Asiatica Extract: Anti-inflammatory. Calms redness fast.
- Madecassoside: The isolated compound that actually repairs wounds.
- Panthenol: Moisture binder. Keeps peeling skin from flaking off.
- Shea Butter: Light layer of occlusive protection — doesn’t suffocate.

First pump? I laughed. It looks like shaving foam. But the second it hit my face, it melted into this silky, watery layer. No tugging. No white cast. I kept touching my cheek because it felt like nothing was there — but my skin wasn’t tight.
Week three, my tretinoin flakes were gone. Not “better” — gone. The weirdest part? My pores looked smaller. Probably because it wasn’t dehydrated anymore, but still — unexpected win.

My redness dropped about 40%. My peeling stopped completely. But I still needed a heavier cream at night because this alone wasn’t enough for winter dryness.

This is the best lightweight cica cream I’ve used — and I’ve tried a dozen. It’s not a cure-all, but for summer or post-irritation repair, it’s a non-negotiable repurchase.
