I was at CVS, pissed off that my Shape Tape was drying out mid-tube. Grabbed this on a whim because $5. Now I’m mad at every concealer I’ve ever loved.
The real flex? It doesn’t crease. Like, at all. Even under my glasses where everything normally settles into a crusty line by noon.
It’s a liquid concealer from L.A. Girl. $5. 8ml. The claim: “HD high-definition concealer.” I rolled my eyes. Then I tried it.
The Pigment
One swipe covers a hormonal zit. Two swipes? That dark spot from last month’s breakout is a ghost.
The Shade Range
24 shades. Not amazing, but shockingly good for a drugstore brand that used to only make “fair,” “medium,” and “tan.”
The Wand
It’s a doe foot, but smaller than Shape Tape’s. Less messy. More precise. Good for my shaky morning hands.

No fancy oils. No fragrance. Just dimethicone (smooth blur), glycerin (holds moisture), and talc (soaks up oil). It’s boring on paper — genius on skin.
- Dimethicone: Creates that blurring, airbrushed finish without looking dry
- Glycerin: Keeps it from settling into fine lines
- Talc: Absorbs excess oil so you don’t look greasy by 3pm
- Silica: The real MVP — makes pores disappear

Texture is thin — almost watery. Dries down in 20 seconds. Set it fast or it’s stuck. First wear: I forgot I had it on. That never happens.
Week 3: It oxidized slightly on my oily zones. Not orange, just… warmer. Weirdly fine if you blend into your neck. Also: don’t pump the wand — you’ll get too much.

Dark circles? 70% gone. Texture? Smooth as hell. Lasts 8 hours before it starts to fade — gracefully, not patchy. Doesn’t break me out.
