It’s a ceramide and niacinamide sandwich. The old formula had a cult following for a reason—these ingredients are barrier royalty.

- Niacinamide: Calms redness, but at a low 2% dose
- Glycerin: The humectant workhorse—pulls water into skin
- La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water: The brand’s signature—soothing, but mostly fancy water
The new texture is runnier. Sinks in stupid fast—like 15 seconds. Leaves a soft, velvety finish, not a trace of grease.
After two weeks, my t-zone stayed balanced. But my cheeks felt tight by noon. The hydration doesn’t last a full day for drier skin.
Zero irritation. Zero breakouts. But the “double repair” magic felt less potent. It maintains; it doesn’t transform.
It’s a good basic moisturizer that got a little less special. I’ll use the bottle, but I’m not repurchasing.
