You’re wasting this toner by using it the same way twice a day. Stop.
Morning needs prep. Night needs repair. The Purito Wonder Releaf Centella Toner does both — but only if you switch your technique. The pH is 5.5, which matters because your skin’s acid mantle changes between sunrise and bedtime.
It’s a hydrating toner with centella asiatica extract. $18 for 150ml. The brand claims “soothing barrier support” — which is marketing speak for “won’t make your angry skin angrier.” I bought it because I was tired of toners that felt like water with a pretty label.
Thicker than expected
Feels like slightly slippery water — not viscous, but not a splash-and-run situation either.
No fragrance
Zero scent. Not “natural” scent. Actually nothing. Weird at first, then addictive.
Pump bottle
Hate pumps for toners usually. This one dispenses exactly one palm’s worth. Fine, I forgive it.

Centella asiatica extract is the star — it calms inflammation by inhibiting COX-2 enzymes. But the real trick is the panthenol (pro-vitamin B5) at 2%, which pulls moisture deeper than glycerin alone. Madecassic acid does the heavy lifting for redness.
- Centella Asiatica Extract: calms rosacea and post-acne redness fast
- Panthenol: holds 4x its weight in water, sinks in 10 seconds
- Madecassic Acid: collagen support without irritation
- Sodium Hyaluronate: surface hydration, not deep — don’t expect magic

First pat — cold, almost gel-like. Absorbs in 8 seconds flat. No tackiness. My combo skin didn’t feel tight or greasy — just… neutral. That’s the word. Neutral in a good way.
Week 2: I stopped getting those random dry patches near my nose. Week 3: My sunscreen stopped pilling. That’s boring but true. The unexpected win? It made my pores look smaller in the AM because my skin wasn’t producing excess oil to compensate for dehydration.
Redness dropped maybe 30% after 2 weeks. Texture stayed the same — this isn’t an exfoliant. My barrier felt stronger: no stinging when I used vitamin C in the morning. But if you’re expecting glow? Buy a serum.
It’s the most boringly effective toner I’ve used. If you want drama, skip it. If you want skin that stops complaining, Purito nailed it.
