I bought this tint in 2021 because Rosie’s bone structure hypnotized me. Three years later, it’s still in my rotation — and that’s weird for a celeb brand.
The real test? I forgot I had it on during a 12-hour flight. Landed, looked in the mirror, didn’t hate what I saw. That never happens.
Rose Inc calls this a “luminous skin tint” — $42 for 1 oz. It’s not foundation. It’s not BB cream. It’s barely there, but better than nothing. The claim that got me: “skin-care infused makeup that improves over time.” I rolled my eyes. Then I tried it.
Squalane base
Not greasy. Absorbs in 10 seconds flat.
Sheer-to-medium buildable coverage
One layer = your skin but better. Two = actually covers my rosacea.
Non-comedogenic
Didn’t break me out — shocking for a “dewy” product.

Most tinted moisturizers are pigment + regret. This one has real skin-care players. The hero is squalane (hydration without the slip) and a peptide complex that supposedly firms over time. I’m skeptical about “firming” from a tint, but my skin looks less tired after a week.
- Squalane: Locks in moisture without clogging pores
- Peptide complex: Claims to firm — I’m not mad at the placebo effect
- Niacinamide: Calms redness, which this tint does better than my actual niacinamide serum
- Vitamin E: Antioxidant buffer so your makeup doesn’t oxidize orange by 3pm

First pump felt thin — almost watery. I panicked. But it spreads like a lightweight moisturizer, not a foundation. Dries down in under a minute. No tackiness. No “dewy” = sweaty look. Just a soft, lit-from-within finish that makes you look like you slept 8 hours (you didn’t).
By week two, I noticed it didn’t settle into my smile lines. That’s rare. The surprise: It actually looks better at hour 6 than hour 1. Skin eats it and glows.

My redness is visibly reduced after 3 weeks. Not gone — just less angry. My texture didn’t change. But my skin looks hydrated, not oily. That’s the win.

Rose Inc isn’t riding on Rosie’s face. The formula holds up. It’s not a miracle — it’s a really good everyday tint that doesn’t betray you by hour 4. Buy it if you want to look like you tried without trying.
