Kim K launched SKKN Body Care and I rolled my eyes so hard I saw last week’s schedule. But then I read the body butter’s ingredient list and actually paused my scrolling.
She hired the same formulation lab that does Osea and Skinfix. That’s not nothing.

🧴 **What’s in the Box**
It’s a four-piece line: body butter ($55), body oil ($50), serum ($45), and a dry brush ($30). The claim that got me: “clinically tested for 24-hour hydration.” I’m a cynic but also dry as a saltine.
Body Butter (8.4 oz)
Thick enough to need scooping, not scooping-enough to feel heavy.
Body Oil (6.7 oz)
Dry oil texture — sinks in before you can drip on the bathroom floor.
Body Serum (5 oz)
Gel-like. Weirdest texture of the trio. Feels like nothing on skin.

💸 **The Ingredient Nerd-Out**
Here’s where it gets unexpected: the body butter has real actives at respectable percentages. Not just filler oils and fragrance. She actually spent money here.
- Squalane: Hydrates without clogging, period.
- Ceramides NP/AP/EOP: Three types — seals moisture barrier properly.
- Niacinamide: Brightens KP and dark elbows over time.
- Shea Butter: Base thickener, but unrefined version retains vitamins.

🔍 **Texture & The Two-Week Test**
The butter is weirdly satisfying — stiff in the jar, melts on contact. Absorbs in about 45 seconds. No greasy phone screen after. The oil is the real winner: dry, silky, actually disappears.
Week two hit and my shins stopped looking like alligator leather. But the fragrance? It’s that “clean” rose-geranium thing. If you hate floral, skip everything except the serum (unscented).

⭐ **Did It Actually Work?**
My knees and elbows are visibly smoother after three weeks. KP on my upper arms? Less bumpy but not gone. The serum did nothing noticeable — skip it unless you hate lotion texture.

📦 **The Bottom Line**
It’s overpriced by about $15 per item — but the formulation is genuinely better than 90% of celebrity body care. I’ll repurchase the oil. The butter if I’m feeling bougie.
